The first video she uploaded to YouTube was posted with Nathan Boucaud, her boyfriend at the at the time. She told a tale of her loss of 500 dollars on an bet with Nathan. Nathan and Ashley were then seen together on nearly every video. Since they both were moving to Washington, they recorded numerous videos. The subjects ranged from the moving experience, to their selection of furniture in the new house they were moving into. In the FBI Asha gained experience in interrogation, electronic surveillance methods using firearms as well as the use of force to kill. Asha was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship for constitutional reform studies in Bogota Columbia, Colombia after graduating with honors from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She completed her law education at Yale Law School. There she was the Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she was employed as a clerk at the Office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. She is a lawyer admitted to the State Bars of New York, Connecticut and Connecticut. The op-eds of Asha have been published on The New York Times The Wall Street Journal The Washington Post as well as other newspapers. Asha is also a legal commentator for ABC News. Asha is a member of the Just Security board of editors and also serves as a Council of Foreign Relations Member.
