She completed her law education at Yale Law School. There she was the Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she was employed as a clerk at the Office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. She is a lawyer admitted to the State Bars of New York, Connecticut and Connecticut.
